Weald Park Country Show 2021

This week, in my blog, I have been asked to feature one of the greatest and most varied country shows around. With summer on it's way, and normality starting to resurface, we come to the time of year in which family days out become a weekly occurrence. And when it comes to family days out, very few feature higher than the Weald Park Country Show in Essex. With so many new and exciting attractions, the show runs over two fun packed days, this year falling on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May.

New to the show this year, the event organisers are delighted to announce a new Motorbike display and attraction area. Running over both days, it features the fantastic motorbike and BMX bike team, where you will have the opportunity to ride a BMX with a UK BMX champion.

The main area will star favourites such as the Dog and Duck shows with the amazing Chris Jupp and his furry companions. Falconry from the World of Wings birds of prey team, starring Ange and Nick with their impressive displays and routines. The quirky, yet enthralling UK Barrell Racing team, the entrancing African Dancers and the Living History display team all join the show in the main area.

On top of all this, also featured is the Festival of Cars. With such an array of entries, this will make a great visit for that special petrolhead in your life.

Perhaps your more of a dog fan? Well say no more. The Festival of Dogs area is massively popular with it's charity dog shows (raising almost £4000 in 2019). With contests that include Owner and Celebrity Lookalike Competition, Dog Agility, Dogs Have Got Talent, Flyball and so much more, you'll find it hard to pull yourself away.

The music area includes a weekend of live music for your listening. With five live bands PLUS an ABBA tribute act, you can dance the night (and day) away listening to all your favourites such as Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia and many more!

The Circus Aerial displays will feature 3 times a day to the Greatest Showman soundtrack, with magic shows and an outdoor theatre performance of The Buccaneers!

The food market is back! Featuring some amazing local produce, and some mouth watering demonstrations from Chef Claudio Bincoletto and many others.

The hard hitting, action packed Wrestleforce Team re-join the show this year. Don't try this at home, instead come and enjoy some entertaining action from the guys in the squared circle, as they fight it out to get to the top!

The Festival of Kids returns!! Take your little one to meet resident T-Rex Classisaurus, who is joined by his friends the Storm Troopers. Plus, Gemma's Petting Farm, Punch and Judy, some super fun rides and much, much more!

Finally, come and support the Rural Crafters. They will be demonstrating their crafts as well as selling them at their stalls. Visit the Living History village and try your luck at archery! Plus, don't miss your opportunity to get some well deserved retail therapy and do some shopping at the amazing array of stalls available at the show.
